Nick and I met with the realtors last night and we have a plan for selling the house in Madrid. They gave us a price that they are going to offer it to the current renter at, and she will have until December 1 to decide if she would like to buy it. If so, the deal will commence and we will be done. If not, they recommend that we have her move out by the end of the year and we will probably be adding central air and possibly a garage to increase the value. We will then put it on the market with a little home staging early next year. It is nice to have a plan in place for that! We went to the house last night and everything looked like it was in great shape, so it was a good night.
While I was writing this I got an update from the realtor, and it sounds like the renter is interested in buying and she is going to be looking into her options.
